Former Zillow Marketing Manager, Mike Kerr, Joins Sellstate Regency

Sellstate welcomes successful marketing professional, Mike Kerr, to the Regency office in Orange County, California. Mike has built a strong competency in marketing business and sales with his time at Zillow. Sellstate now looks forward to him transferring these strong capabilities and helping us add to our competitive advantages.

Below is a little information on Mike Kerr’s career:

Sellstate Regency Realty, Inc. and Jeff Farr, Broker proudly welcome Mike Kerr to the Sellstate Regency family as a sales manager and coach for our Orange California headquarters branch.

Mike brings over 25 years of Real Estate experience to Sellstate Regency.  Most recently he was the Marketing Manager for none other than Zillow!!!  There, he implemented a program to train and assist Zillow Brokers and Agents in increasing their market share by effectively using the Zillow platform to build their brand awareness thus increasing listings and closings on a monthly basis.

Mike is an expert in prospecting and business building and has helped agents secure over 22.5 million dollars in business over the past two years.  He has “inside” knowledge of how Zillow, Trulia, and work and will share that information with all of you to increase your business here at Sellstate Regency.

Prior to Zillow, Mike owned and operated his own Commercial Real Estate Brokerage in Phoenix Arizona which he grew from 5 agents to 45 agents with sales of over 100 million dollars annually before selling that firm to a National firm out of Chicago Illinois.  His client list is impressive and included such companies as Coca Cola, Chrysler, Microsoft, Intel, Motorola and several others.

Mike’s move to Sellstate Regency came with his knowledge that Real Estate is a changing industry and his experience at Zillow, combined with his background as an owner,  uniquely positions him to help agents take advantage of the tools now available to grow their business.  “I made the move to Sellstate, because I believe their business model is the future of Real Estate” Mike states.  “I want to offer my agents the best of both worlds; the top technology and business tools along with the best marketing and support staff available within the industry while consistently delivering the highest standards to our clients available in the industry.”

Mike appreciates working with agents who want professional growth so they can meet the needs of others. He is looking for REALTORS® with integrity, passion and motivation for the Real Estate business to join our family here at Sellstate Regency and growing our brand.  Mike attributes the success of agents who have worked with him, to the fact that he is a non-competing Manager.  “Statistics show that 90% of all REALTORS® fail in their first year of business because they lack guidance,” Mike states.  “As a hands-on Manager, I am and will be with my sales associates every day.  I maintain an open door policy day or night.   I am available to answer questions and offer the support that agents need to succeed.”

Mike and his wife Jeannie, live in Laguna Niguel.  He has a son who is pursuing his Graduate Degree in Performance Psychology at the Cal State University Long Beach and a Doctorate in Sports Psychology at University of California Santa Barbara. He also has a daughter attending Northern Arizona University who is planning to attending medical school focusing on Sports Medicine.  Mike and Jeannie are deeply involved in supporting Veterans and the children, widows and families of our Fallen Heroes.  Mike and his wife have received awards for their service to our Military Families from the California State Assembly, the United States Congress and the United States Marine Corps.

Successful Real Estate Professional, Ron Ario, Becomes Sellstate’s California Regional Manager

Sellstate’s dedication to provide a nationwide, technology driven, high quality system for real estate professionals has resulted in the substantial growth of our west coast region. To meet the high level of demand, we have hired on Ron Ario as our regional director for California.

Ron has had a lengthy career in the real estate business with companies such as Keller Williams and Coldwell Banker, and has accumulated a substantial amount of knowledge and skills from his time there. Sellstate now looks forward to him transferring these strong capabilities and helping us add to our competitive advantages in our west coast region.

Below is a little information on Ron’s career:

Ron Ario has been involved in a variety of capacities in the Residential Real Estate since 1981. His career started out on the fast track in the Silicon Valley area of Northern California.  After receiving the Regional “Rookie of the Year” honors for Coldwell Banker Real Estate, he never looked back.  He moved to Southern California in 1990 working with a national franchise in Beverly Hills.  He transitioned his sales career to full time management in 1998 where he assumed positions such as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as well as Director of Operations for a National Real Estate Services Firm expanding them from a strong regional company to a national company.

Ron’s emphasis has always been on growth and expansion.  In January of 2002 Ario accepted the position of Regional Director for Central/Southern California Region of Keller Williams.  Ron expanded the region from just 20 agents in 1 office to 1,400 agents in 14 offices in just 4 years.

In 2007 Ario purchased the right to be Master Franchisor of Los Angeles County for Intero Real Estate Services.  In the process navigating the most historic housing crisis experienced to date.

August 1, 2014 Ario accepted the position of Regional Manager – California for Sellstate Realty, a national real estate franchise.  “I look forward to bringing my experience, vision, and passion to this company.” says Ario.

Ron attributes his success to his constant pursuit of perfection and honest evaluation in business as well as his personal life.  He is always striving to inspire and to be the greatest level leader he is capable of.  He brings great passion to this venture as Regional Manager of California for Sellstate Realty. Ron’s intentions are to help manifest the global vision set forth by the founders, CEO Art Darmanin and President Neil Cresswell. Teaching the value of leadership and teamwork.  His message will be that your level in life is determined by your level of leadership, thus showing the value of personal growth and development.  There is no business growth without personal growth.

Once again, we would like to extend our warm welcome to Ron. We are excited to move forward with the addition of such an experienced and pleasant member of our team!
