Sellstate Appoints Dick Calafato as Head of Western Franchise Development

As CEO of Sellstate, it gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Dick Calafato to Sellstate’s executive team as Head of Western Franchise Development. Dick will make a great addition and will be instrumental in our growth and support of our existing offices.

Dick Calafato established his own records of success at the outset of his career in real estate. In his first two years in the business, Dick personally listed 223 single-family residences, and his sales volume set records of achievement throughout California. Following that, Dick founded All State Realtors, which quickly grew to 165 offices becoming one of California’s strongest forces in the real estate industry which he later sold to one of the majors.

He later joined ERA as a consultant for the Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska Region. In two years time he grew the company from 56 to 102 offices until ERA National bought back the Regional franchise rights to the Northwest.

Dick has served as a lecturer for the California Association of Realtors and is also one of their noted authors. He was a Master Instructor for C.A.R. and taught for the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) program. He has traveled nationally to present educational and motivational lectures and seminars throughout the United States. In addition, Dick spent 15 years teaching the Code of Ethics for the California Association of Realtors and was also an instructor for USC’s real estate division for 2 years. Dick has also lectured at seminars with Tom Hopkins.
